What a surprise! My stepson in Boston, a Russell, got a call trying to locate me. I missed the 25th and plan on being there in Sept. As soon as I saw the list of classmates, many memories of those days came clearly back to me. I wonder if we will recognize each other.? It will be fun. A thank you to all that are making this possible.

I greatly appreciate the work being done by the reunion committee!! The web site is terrific -- seeing names of friends from long ago is great fun. Sad to see some of my old buddies are no longer with us. Really looking forward to seeing everyone! Remember you can take the boy/girl out of Yonkers but you can't take the Yonkers out of any of us!

You probably remember my camera's flash snapping old times at RHS for 4 years. Well many cameras later my new digital camera will capture the 2008 reunion activities too.

Frankly, I'm a little surprised at how excited I am about attending the reunion. So much has happened in my life since then that I don't think about my years at Roosevelt very often; yet, ever since I learned about the reunion, I have been eagerly awaiting it. Many thanks to the Committee for their hard work in organizing this.
When I come, I'll bring all the little notes that you wrote me in my copy of L'Envoi as well as the many pages you filled in for me in my memory album - and I hope you'll do the same.
We have SO MUCH to talk about - Let's do this EVERY half century!

When Lou and Herb contacted me by telephone, (notice, yet another new e-mail wagywagy@suddenlink.net) I was surprised they found me. I left Yonkers in 1969 and have moved 12 times. Ah, the power of computers! At first, I was not excited about the reunion. However, reading through the names on the website, it jogged all sorts of memories. I have marked the date on the calendar. Thank you to the committee for your hard work.

As our kids (grandchildren???) say, "This is so fun!" My brother-in-law, Ken Altschul, roped me into being on the committee and then co-chair with him and Lynne Fields Wilson, so I wouldn't "get fat and lazy in my retirement"!! But I can't impress on you enough what a kick this is. It is so great to see and talk to people I haven't seen in 25 or 50 years!! I am having the best time. Please sign the Guest Book and join in the fun. There are many ways you can get involved and in the spirit and you don't have too be in the NY area. Mini reunions with classmates who live near you is just one idea (have a drink or a meal together).And let us know who you've seen. I've been having a fabulous time being
a part of the planning for our 50th reunion!!! We've all had such full lives..
children, grandchildren, travels etc....
but it seems like yesterday that we were
walking the halls of RHS with our friends.

Working on the reunion committee has given me the opportunity to reacquaint myself with classmates that I haven't seen, or heard from, since high school.
